There seems to be a lot of forgeries in the music industry. Ghana Music Industry to be précised. Today, I begin with the bloggers.
Some Ghanaian bloggers are so fake from the head to the as*, I can’t even believe it! They don’t post contents that motivate them. They post contents for traffic sake and when that fails, they turn to upcoming artists, taking money from them before they post their contents (most of which are not worth sharing, but they share anyway due to the money collected.
“I’m not giving you even a pesewa! If you claim you have a decent audience which you have earned through the sharing of quality contents, you wouldn’t need my money for s*it!” – exclaimed a friend artist.
The little advice I will give you, as a friend blogger, is to start posting content that you love. The authenticity and the quality of your contents will bring you the real audience who will love you and support you (financially) for what you do.
And you the upcoming artist, wise up! Keep on making good music with your fans in mind, and never pay for a press write-up. This is because an article that is worth paying for can never be paid for.
