How much your favorite Ghanaian artists charge per show

A decade ago, being an artist in Ghana, precisely a musician, was something very few people held in high esteem. Fast forward, things have really changed. Musicians are actually raking in monies that some of our white collar workers will find difficult to come by.

To help answer the question "How much do Ghanaian artists charge per show?", a Ghanaian youtuber has revealed in a recent video, charges made by some top musicians in the country. From our own AY POYOO to the HIGHEST SARKODIE.

This is how he did it. There’s no way a random guy out of the blue will text the management of sarkodie or Shatta wale requesting for how much they charge for a show and will be replied. So according to the youtuber,he created a fake IG account posing as the operations manager of a very reputable company.

He contacted management of the artistes and requested for their services. There he had them naming their prices.

Here is how much some of our musicians charge per show.

According to the video, The leader of “POYOORIANS” charges nothing less than Gh 12,000 cedis. For someone, who only got started in the industry, sounds a bit high, but, it is what it is.

If you want to enjoy his services, you better “WASHOUT”.

Also in the same category, the Pilolo hitmaker, Strongman Burner, also has same charge as AY Poyoo, Gh12,000cedis. Not fair is it?

MzVee charges Gh 46,000 per show. Even tho the former lynx entertainment artiste for the past few years hasn’t given us that much, she’s still one of the masses’ favourite and having her on your show will sell . What can I say, I think it’s fair to pay Mzvee that amount.

Wendy Shay, Our self acclaimed version of Beyonce, charges Gh 50,000 cedis to grace a program. Well, having Beyonce for Gh 50,000 is nothing to complain about right? Lol. I mean, she has the hit songs too, so, pay her already.
